What are the general rules for Renters and passengers when booking a boat?

Renters must at all times comply with all laws and regulations relative to the use and the operation of the boat.

Renters must not use the boat for high-risk activities and must not engage in competitive boating or racing. The Renters must not use the boat to push, propel or tow another boat, or for illegal and/or dangerous activities.

Renters must not carry anything else in excess of the capacity of the boat, as well as passengers in areas of the boat that are not designated for passengers. Renters and passengers must carry personal floatation devices when required by law.

All food, fuel and stores, and other running expenses are to be provided and paid for by the Renter. All port charges, entry charges, landing charges, dockage, mooring, anchorage, and pilotage fees are to be paid by the Renter.

The Renter shall be in full possession and control of the boat, and will be responsible for all incidents of ownership during the charter period. Upon termination of the charter period, the Renter’s incidents of ownership shall automatically expire and terminate.

The Renter shall ensure that any pet brought onboard the vessel is house trained. Any accidents on the carpets, beds, or furniture created by the pet will be charged by the Owner.

The Renter is responsible for determining whether the Boat Owner’s insurance is adequate and appropriate for his intended purposes, and, if necessary, to obtain additional appropriate coverage, if desired. The Renter will not break the terms of the Boat Owner’s insurance policy, including, without limitation, the navigational limits it imposes.

The Renter will comply and ensure that its guests comply with the laws and regulations of any country into whose waters the boat shall enter during the course of this Agreement.

The Renter will not allow any smoking inside of the Vessel. Smoking cigarettes and cigars is permitted on aft-deck or swim platform with ashtray. No smoking of Hookah or any illegal narcotics or red wine is allowed on the vessel.
