How do I set up an installment plan for my boats?

The Installments feature on Sailo allows you to charge the Renter an initial installment payable at the moment when the booking is confirmed, and then require the remaining balance in up to 2 additional payments. 

While we recommend to create only 2 installments, Sailo platform allows up to 3 (three) installments. The first one is always charged when the booking is confirmed and the last one is  charged at least 10 days before the trip date.  

To create an Installment plan for your boat, go to the “Installments” section of the boat profile and  click on “Add payment schedule”. Once you have selected the number of installments  (2 or 3), you can customize your payment schedule.  You can add a description for each installment (e.g. 1st installment, 2nd installment etc),  enter the amount as a percentage of the total boat rental cost, and set up  the payment schedule  (number of days before the trip date) for each installment.
