Will I get a refund if I cancel my booking?

If the renter submits a cancelation while a booking request is “Pending approval” by the boat owner, the credit card will not be charged, the hold placed on the booking amount will be canceled and the money will be released.

If the booking was already accepted by the boat owner it will show in “Confirmed” state. In this case, the refund  will depend on the type of policy your booking has and the number of days before your trip start date. To find out if you qualify for a refund check the specific terms applicable to your booking.

Standard:

Full refund of paid amount excluding the service fee if renter cancels 6 days or more before trip start date. 

No refund if renter cancels within 5 days or less before trip start date.

Flexible:

Full refund of paid amount excluding the service fee if renter cancels 3 days or more before trip start date. 

No refund if renter cancels within 2 days or less before trip start date.

Strict:

Full refund of paid amount excluding the service fee if renter cancels 31 days or more before trip start date. 

No refund if renter cancels within 30 days or less before trip start date.

No refunds:

No refund if renter cancels anytime after booking has been confirmed. 

If the boat did not have a cancelation chosen at the time you submitted the booking no cancelation type will show on the booking page. To find out which cancelation policy applies, you  should ask the boat owner directly, through the “Message Owner” button on the boat page. 

Service fees are charged for services rendered at the time a booking is confirmed such as payment processing, security verification, fraud protection and are non-refundable.  They will be paid by the person requesting the cancelation, regardless of when the cancelation is made.

Refund Plus:

Refund Plus takes priority over the boat's cancellation policy and allows you to request a complete refund, including all fees, in case of specific unexpected situations.
