Weather cancelations and reschedulings are entirely at the discretion of the captain or boat owner. The renter can not invoke “bad weather” as reason for cancelation unless the captain or the boat owner agrees to it.
Cloudy skies and some rain are not grounds for canceling or rescheduling. Some boat listings have a % chance or rain acceptable for canceling due to bad weather. That % is considered as the average during your rental period. For example, if there is an 80% chance of rain in the first hour of your half day trip and sunny for the rest of it, the owner might not consider canceling.
Ultimately the captain or owner will make the decision if the weather conditions are safe to get out on the water.
If a cancelation due to bad weather is necessary, the boat owner should cancel directly from the “Cancel” button on the booking page.
If a trip is rescheduled due to bad weather the Cancelation policy applies to the initial date of the trip.
