What happens if the boat owner doesn’t show up?

If the trip does not take place because the boat owner (or the designated captain) fails to show-up at the time of rental check-in, is unfit to operate the vessel (for captained charters), or does not communicate the correct physical location of the boat, the renter will receive a full refund including the Service/Processing Fee. In this case, the boat owner will not receive any payment and will be charged an additional fee in the amount of the service/processing fee. Sailo may also decide to apply other penalties as well, such as demoting the boat’s position in the search results or place the boat owner under monitoring for a period of time.
