Prior to rendering the Owner’s Boat available for rent, Sailo requires the Boat to have received an Initial Boat Certificate of Condition (“Certificate of Condition”) performed by an approved Sailo Affiliate or a Vessel Safety Check performed by the U.S. Coast Guard Auxiliary. It is the Owner’s responsibility to make sure that Regularly Scheduled Maintenance (“Maintenance”) for the boat is in accordance with all government and manufacturer recommendations. Upon request by Sailo, the Owner is responsible for providing an up-to-date proof of maintenance to Sailo. Such proof of maintenance shall be submitted in the form of acceptable documentation signed by an accredited Marine Surveyor. Should the Owner fail to provide evidence of Maintenance, i.e. the completed survey (“Survey”), Sailo may suspend the Boat from the Sailo website and associated Service until acceptable proof of maintenance is received.
