How does Sailo protect my personal data and payment information?

At Sailo we are continuously implementing and updating administrative, technical, and physical security measures to help protect your information against unauthorized access, loss, destruction, or alteration. Some of the safeguards we use to protect your information are firewalls and data encryption, and information access controls.

Sailo uses end-to-end encryption for all pages served, so all information is encrypted and transmitted to us in a secure way. You can verify this by looking for a lock icon in the address bar and looking for "https" at the beginning of the address of the web page.

For further security we do not store directly on our servers any sensitive payment information (such as credit card data); this information is stored by our payment services provider Stripe on secure servers.

We also protect your information offline. Only employees who need the information to perform a specific job (for example, billing or customer service) are granted access to personally identifiable information. The computers/servers in which we store personally identifiable information are kept in a secure environment.
